COLLEEN THAT IS SO AWESOME!!! I’M SO EXCITED!!!

Via watch me unfold.

Well I wrote it out, so I might as well post it

  1. Are you young at heart, or an old soul? Young. I like to think I’m mature, but I’m still very naïve and I can get upset very easily. I also believe, though I can be cynical about a lot of things, that I see the world with a certain innocence and really do believe that those fairytale moments happen and that the littlest things are often very special.
  2. What makes someone a best friend? Someone who is always lifting you up. Not just saying what you want to hear and making you feel better, but actually making you a better person.
  3. What Christmas (or Hanukkah) present do you remember the most? I used to get American Girl Dolls or new clothes for them when I was younger. I don’t remember particular ones, but I always was so excited and I would pack them all up in big bags and boxes and take them to family gatherings and never put them down. That was very special.
  4. Tell me about a movie/song/tv show/play/book that has changed your life. John Green has changed the way I see the world. Alaska taught me to be fearless and worry less about what is “good” or “smart” and more about what is right. Katherines taught me that the only person qualified to truly devalue you is yourself and not to make quick judgments, you never know what you might find in unexpected places. Paper Towns made me realize it is not about where you are or what you’re doing, it’s who you’re with and how much you love. The Fault in our Stars reminded me to appreciate everything and absolutely never take life and its gifts for granted.
  5. Name one physical feature that you like about yourself, and one you dislike. I hate these questions. I like my hair, it sort of does my bidding. My eyes are kind of pretty. But I have an awkward nose and my left knee is littered with scars, and rather uninteresting ones.
  6. Would you like to reconnect with any friends you’ve lost contact with? Sometimes I think I would. I’m a different person and I would want them to see. But at the same time, you move on from certain things for a reason and the things that stick around in your life are the things that really count.
  7. What’s more important in a relationship: physical attraction or emotional connection? Emotional is more important or it isn’t really a relationship. I won’t lie, I think about the physical part too. Love is blind, but you’re much more likely to fall for someone if they look nice to you. I’m not only talking about conventional beauty though, not the way you judge a celebrity or someone you don’t know. There does kind of have to be that thing that triggers a little spark though.
  8. Name a movie that you knew would be terrible just from reading the title. Hotel for Dogs. Come on, it could have been named something much cuter. Not going to lie…I’ve seen that like…six times anyway.
  9. What holiday do you most look forward to? Christmas. I’m practically obsessed with it. I love the sparkles and the smell and all the extra love everyone seems to be giving.
  10. How is the relationship between you and your parents? I think it’s good. We have rough spots and some things we’ll probably never see eye to eye on, but we have an understanding of that and still get along. I think my parents are two of the most lovely people ever and I’m very blessed.
  11. You’ve got the TV on, but you’re not really watching. What channel is the TV on?  You mean typically? Comedy Central is background noise for me a lot. Or some HBO movie. I’ve recently taken a liking to the Food Network, but only if it’s a competition.
  12. Name a song that never fails to make you happy. “You Can Finally Meet My Mom” by Train. This is actually a pretty new song for me, but I keep playing it and I smile every time.
  13. You know at least one person named Michael. Tell me about him. Let’s go for my cousin. He’s a musician, so you would think I would maybe connect with him. But he’s from a part of the family we don’t really like as much. His daughter is the cutest, sweetest little girl ever. I liked his wife too. But they got a divorce and he got a Porsche. We don’t really talk.
  14. Have you ever read the “missed connections” on Craigslist? Have you ever posted one, or wanted to? I have never even been on Craigslist. “Missed connections” is a phrase I use regularly, but I’m pretty sure my meaning is different.
  15. If you could pick anywhere to live the rest of your life, where would it be? I really love New York, but I think I would rather be out on the Pacific Northwest somewhere. Maybe northern California. I love rain and the general open mindedness you can find out there.
  16. Can money buy happiness? No. Of course, I think money can help one find an easy way to some incredible experiences that would make you very happy, but you don’t need money to be happy.
  17. Do you drink? Smoke? Do drugs? Why, or why not? I’m not opposed to drinking, though I’ve never done it. It just hasn’t come up. Smoking is gross. Sorry, there’s just no reason good enough to destroy your body and smell like that. Drugs scare me. The idea of losing control over myself really terrifies me, which is probably why I never do this stuff. I don’t judge people based on if they do though. It’s their choice.
  18. Is there anyone close to you that you know you can’t trust? You don’t have to give names. I’m surrounded by teenage girls. Of course there is.
  19. Where was your favorite place to go when you were a little kid? I guess this tree just outside my backyard. I liked going to my grandma’s house too.
  20. Have you ever spent a night in the hospital? Actually, no.
  21. Do you enjoy being with only one or two friends, or with a large group of people? Depends on who I’m with. I kind of like big groups though.
  22. Do you like the type of music your parents listen to? Do your parents like the type of music you listen to? Typically I do. My dad’s tastes are a bit mainstream, but I don’t strongly dislike anything he plays. I either adore or hate what my mom likes, there’s not really a medium.
  23. Have you ever been bullied? Have you ever bullied anyone else? There was this one girl when I was really little who was pretty awful to me and others too. But she was easy to ignore, so I wasn’t really affected. I don’t think I bully anyone. I’m not an angel to everyone all the time, but who is?
  24. If you could only eat one thing for the rest of your life, what would it be? Probably some kind of fruit. I wouldn’t get sick and it would still be sweet.
  25. If your partner wanted to wait until marriage before having sex, would you stay in that relationship? I would definitely respect that, yes.
  26. Do you believe in a god? Sometimes.
  27. Of all the social networks in the world, why use Tumblr? It’s funnier and I don’t feel obligated to find everyone I know who uses it. And not everyone who knows me follows me, so I trust it and put more personal stuff here than anywhere else.
  28. What’s your favorite Tumblr tag to track? I don’t track tags.
  29. Would you call yourself/your family “middle class?” We’re on the upper end of that. Probably the upper, upper end. We’re not obscenely rich but…my parents are smart with money and work hard, so we can afford to do some nice things for ourselves.
  30. Name a TV series you didn’t enjoy until after it ended. Arrested Development, solely because I did not know it existed.
  31. Have you ever bought a product from an infomercial? “You must be eighteen years or older to call.”
  32. If you could give up your car and never have to drive again, would you? I don’t have a car or a license. I’m anxious to drive though.
  33. If you go back to one point in time to give advice to yourself, when would you go and what would you say? Maritt, you don’t have stage fright, play the lead in this silly grade school musical because you probably won’t get to do that ever again.
  34. What’s your “quirkiest” habit? I’m not much of a talker around people I don’t know well, but I laugh at EVERYTHING. I also repeat what people say and scratch the side of my right thumb when I’m nervous.
  35. What is “normal?” Are you normal? No one is normal. And I don’t even act like it most of the time.
  36. Someone close to you is dying. You have the choice to let this person live for 10 more years, but if you do, you cause the death of 10 strangers. You don’t have to see them die. Do you take the offer? Probably not. I couldn’t live with that. I would just make the most of what I have left with that person.
  37. What is one thing you could never forgive? I think I’m very forgiving. But if someone hurt someone I love and felt no remorse, I wouldn’t be okay with it.
  38. Would you rather be in a relationship after the honeymoon period ends, or be single? Good relationships are still magic after the honeymoon period, just not in the same way. If you really love someone, you don’t need that honeymoon cushion anymore.
  39. Is it possible for guys and girls to be just friends? Of course. But at my age and in my environment, someone typically wants more, even if they’re confused. But yeah, if you don’t get all flipped out about stuff, it’s entirely possible.
  40. Where do you and your friends go to hang out? Kay Bova.
  41. Write the first paragraph of your obituary. Nope, I intend to have some really great stuff to leave behind. But I don’t know what it is yet.
  42. What is the best TV theme song ever? The Friends theme is a classic. But I also love the Mad Men opening, though I don’t like the show. The little thing at the beginning of Lost also gave me chills every time.
  43. When you were young, what would you dream you would be when you grew up? I wanted to be a vet, probably one at a zoo. But then I thought about what vets do and realized I do not want to do that.
  44. When you’re alone in your own home, do you walk around naked? Absolutely not. That sounds uncomfortable, cold, and entirely unpleasant.
  45. What gets you out of bed in the morning? I have amazing, wonderful friends who make me smile every day. Also I’m all too aware of the fact that life does not stay the same way for long and I only get to be the way I am now once, so I refuse to waste it.
  46. Do you want to have more friends than you have right now? Not really. I want to have different friends in my life and people will of course phase in and out, but amount wise, I’m entirely satisfied. I do want some more friends outside of school though, it would be nice to know some different kinds of people.
  47. What part of the past year sticks out in your mind? Honestly not much. It’s been a great year, but last year “sticks out” more. I met a lot of my best friends and there’s a four-month period between January and April that was really memorable because I sort of figured out who I would be and what I would be doing for the next few years.
  48. You win a scratch-off lottery game that gives you $2000 a week (after taxes) for the rest of your life. Do you keep your job? I don’t really have a job, I would take a lot of time off and travel, but I think I would need to be doing something or I would go crazy. I like schedules and rules.
  49. Could you be in a long-distance relationship? If you’re in one, what makes yours work? I doubt it. I could cope with a short-term long-distance thing, but the whole point of being with someone is BEING WITH someone.
  50. What’s the best route to your heart? Don’t be fake and don’t hold back.
  51. Have you ever met someone through the internet, then met them in real life? Maybe, but I don’t think so.
  52. What is your favorite sport? I think I like soccer? I’m not sporty, or even coordinated.
  53. What has been troubling you lately? People getting worked up
  54. Did you enjoy your high school prom? If you haven’t gotten there yet, do you look forward to it? If you didn’t go, why not? I so look forward to it. I love glitter and cliché, and what’s prom if it isn’t a big, glittery cliché?
  55. What do you use more often: your intuition or logical reasoning? Probably my intuition, but logic comes in when I tell it to.
  56. Do you know what makes you happy? Being with people I love and giving a killer performance.
  57. Tell me about the last book you read. No, I don’t feel like it.
  58. What is the nicest compliment you’ve ever been given? When my best friend compliments me on singing, because she’s insanely good and really means what she says. She wouldn’t just tell me I did well to be nice, because she knows it matters to me.
  59. Who was your first crush?  This hilarious kid from an acting camp I used to do. We didn’t talk much and we never have since.
  60. Do you believe that there is life on other planets? Not really, though I guess it’s maybe possible somewhere really far away.
  61. Predict what your life will look like a year from now. Probably a lot like it does now. But that’s not bad at all.
  62. Often, people will ask how your last relationship ended. I want to know how it began. By relationship you mean “relationship,” a phenomenon I am yet to truly experience.
  63. Where is your favorite place to go out and eat? Kay Bova with my friends, I guess. I love going out to nice places with my parents before seeing a show too. But in all honesty, nothing beats Hardees with dad, as simple as that is.
  64. What is something you want to change about your current situation? I wish I was motivated to study and be productive. Instead I’m doing this.
  65. Early bird or night owl? It really depends on the day. I’m typically more of a night person though.
  66. Are there any childhood possessions you still hold on to? I sleep with three of my stuffed animals still. Many others are hidden in the trunk behind my bed.
  67. Give me an unpopular opinion you have. I don’t know if this is unpopular in all spheres of our universe, but I’m one of the few people I know who thinks President Obama is AWESOME.
  68. What was the last song that was stuck in your head? Cough Syrup by Young the Giant, but probably the Darren version from Glee.
  69. Where do you live? Be as general or specific as you want. Chesterfield, Missouri, I call it Suburbia.
  70. Do you believe in giving kids medals and trophies for participation? Sure. I got that and it didn’t make me think I was too special. It’s really just for fun.
  71. What was the longest car ride you’ve ever taken? I drove to Cleveland and then Martha’s Vineyard over the course of two days. And back. Twice.
  72. Have you ever taken part in a protest? I don’t think so, but I bet I would be quick to join one.
  73. Would you ever use an online dating service? No.
  74. What is your ethnic heritage? German, Polish, English, Dutch, maybe a smidge Irish but not really.
  75. Describe a person that inspires you. Doing it all and making it look easy with love.
  76. If you earn minimum wage doing what you love, would you? Sure.
  77. Do you believe in luck? Yeah. I’m really lucky, but maybe I’m also just easy to please.
  78. Describe the last time you were very angry at someone. VERY angry? I found out some girls told my friend I said something mean about her. Mess with me; leave my friends out of it. Thanks.
  79. Do you want to live until you’re 100? No. Old age seems awful. I want to die somewhat young.
  80. Do people change? If so, how do you keep a relationship together when both of you start to change? The thing that makes a relationship good is if it can last through changes. Change is good. Let it happen.
  81. Have you ever risked a friendship by telling someone you liked them? Nope, but I think I was sort of on the receiving end of that once and it definitely is a risk because I definitely treated that person differently afterward.
  82. Would you rather be alone doing something you enjoy, or doing something you don’t like with your best friends? Depends on what it is.
  83. Do you practice what you preach? Most of the time, I think. I don’t preach much. I should be braver though.
  84. If you take precautions to stay safe, do you ultimately act more recklessly? No. I don’t have to worry about that much though, I’m not under much pressure or around any danger.
  85. What do you value more in a significant other: Attractiveness or intelligence? Intelligence. Smart is hot.
  86. Have you ever laughed uncontrollably when it was socially inappropriate? If you haven’t, you’re missing out.
  87. When have you felt most alive? Performing at Carnegie Hall was incredible. I love standing ovations.
  88. Would you prefer to live? A city? The suburbs? The countryside? The mountains? City. I need stuff going on. I would love to escape to the country for a bit though; I just couldn’t stay for long.
  89. Do you often skip breakfast? I like to sleep in.
  90. How do you know what true love is? You just do.
  91. Would you want to know the exact date and time you were going to die? No, that would be extremely nerve-wracking.
  92. Where is “home” for you? Viz.
  93. What song best describes your life right now? Is there one called “Shit I Forgot to Study?”
  94. Do you want to be perfect? Definitely not. I want to be perfect to someone, but just because they love my flaws too. That’s what’s real.
  95. What have you never tried, but would really like to someday? What’s holding you back? I want to have one of those magical, fairytale stories of romance or whatever. What’s holding me back is that I never like anyone that much and they don’t happen often anyway.
  96. How do you express your creativity? I tend to occasionally give some big dramatic speech to a friend. I act, sing, and play piano too. Or I go completely silent and get ultra-contemplative, and I think that counts.
  97. Describe your neighborhood. Really quiet.
  98. Name something you only liked because it was popular. Probably Twilight. (One of the only things I’m ashamed of)
  99. Give me the story of your life in six words. But it has really just begun

Zayn and Liam imitating Harry

…Harry and I are the same person.

But Liam is still my favorite.
